The Ancient Temple in the Deep Mountain
幽谷の古刹~長野・米子瀧山不動寺~
The two 80-meter waterfalls, which are worshiped as deities, tumble with a booming roar. Between them is a sacred temple where many priests come for their religious training. In the olden days, a famous general, Uesugi Kenshin, left his Buddhist statue at the temple and since then it has been revered by many generations of worshipers. This program reveals the private waterfall training held for the priests under the falls, examines the history of the temple, and explains how to properly pray at the temple.
