Don’t take cooking for granted! Two teams made up by three people, each with different cooking skills and experience, go head to head in a competition filled with an unexpected lottery sensation. The team members take turns cooking a given full course dish. No recipes or instructions are included. The cooking time of each member is determined by the roulette wheel. ‘Bad cooks’ are swamped in pressure and anxiety, while ‘good cooks’ must show flexibility to fix and recover whatever goes wrong. At the end of the show, the teams will be judged by food experts, and the better team wins.

This is a " head-to-head" battle between five challengers and a champion of various genres.
The challenger will challenge with a striking skill he or she is good at, and the champion must take all fight.
In short, the champion must fight with the five specialists, regardless of his or her own strengths or weaknesses.
The point is, Champion must win whenever!
Champions will feel unshakable confidence and ecstasy if they win their fifth consecutive championship!
On the other hand, if the Champion loses even once, the challenger achieves "Giant-Killing" and earns prize.
In this game, you can see an interesting battle whether the weak defeat the strong or the strong will continue to be the strong.

In this spectacular studio based cooking show, 2 couples compete to see which team can create the best dish to win a cash prize! Within 40 minutes, couples need to cooperate and create 2 dishes. However, the kitchens are separated and conversations about cooking process are prohibited.
And here is the twist! Every 10 minutes, the kitchen rotates 180 degrees!
The husband must take over the wife’s dish and the wife must take over the husband’s! Couples need to read each other’s minds and estimate the cooking procedure in order to win! Create the best dish with bonds of love!

Each week, we visit a city in another part of the world. In the first half, our "virtual reporter" who stays behind the camera strolls around the city to visit famous tourist spots, introduce its culture and customs, and discover souvenirs and local foods. In the second half, we visit the home of a newlywed couple where the wife shows us how she prepares her special breakfast.
People's culture and food vary from place to place… There are still many things for us to discover around the world. You'll feel as though you've come along for the ride as we journey around the world and learn about each special place and its people. Plus, you will get the recipes of each week’s breakfast! A cooking show that presents a mouthwatering dilemma!
Skillfully mixing elements of a cooking show, a game show, a variety show and the educational format, Cooking Showdown has proved to be a huge success in several countries already. As a show with delicious food as its centerpiece, people from a wide demographic can enjoy watching the participants twist and turn in temptation over a mouthwatering menu.
Celebrity contestants are forced to make a choice between two succulent dishes, which is something that anyone who has been to a fine restaurant with a tantalizing selection of food is familiar with. The only difference is, these dishes have been prepared using the penultimate ingredients, selected by traveling far and wide in search of the ‘best-of-the-best’. It won’t be easy to make the choice, since the dishes closely resemble each other, and have been prepared by first-rate chefs.
Two hosts, helped by enticing footage of the food’s preparation, its history and culture, introduce the two battling dishes. The panelists are invited over to the studio kitchen to meet the chefs, and get a hint of what’s in store. It’s here that the show builds up a sense of anticipation. We are taken around the country to collect the finest available ingredients as they are showcased one-by-one. While the audience learns about each dish, they are also entertained by the hosts doing battle over the panelists’ stomachs.
Finally, when the panelists are forced to make their choice, we can experience the ecstasy of the winners and the envy of the losers. But it’s not just the losing panelists who are left feeling hungry; the audience also seems to keep coming back for more!
