A Living Dinosaur -- Komodo Dragon, Indonesia

A Living Dinosaur -- Komodo Dragon, Indonesia|NHK/NHK Enterprises
(c)NHK
Growing to three meters in length and 100 kilograms in weight, the Komodo dragon, which inhabits the island of Komodo and other islands of sub-equatorial Indonesia, is the world's largest lizard. With their thick protective skin, Komodo dragons are just like dinosaurs, and they hunt wildlife such as wild boars and deer. For this episode, a small high-definition camera was mounted on a remote-controlled model tank, allowing the camera to deftly track the dragon hunting a wild boar and capture the fierce struggle among males over a female Komodo.
