Plunge deep into the post-COVID world of immersive cultural tourism with Immerse Yourself in Saga. This distinctive travel show introduces viewers to Saga Prefecture, known for its rich cultural heritage and gloriously scenic landscapes.
Designed to fully immerse visitors in the local atmosphere, all sorts of experiences are on offer. Highlights include a private tea ceremony led by a real tea master, and a magical illuminated night tour of the majestic Yutoku Inari Shrine, complete with an ancient “fox wedding” ritual where visitors can don fox masks and participate in the pageantry. With stops at beloved local eateries and historical sites, Immerse Yourself in Saga is the ultimate guide to exploring the wonders of Japan’s hidden gem, offering travelers a rich blend of tradition and modernity.
Currently in production by TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting Co., Ltd., this series is scheduled to start airing in November 2024.
