Tomoya Ishida (Taisei Sakai), a newbie editor at a women’s fashion magazine, is suddenly put in charge of food researcher Ayumu Mitsuya(Masayoshi Yamazaki)’s column as the pinch hitter when his co-worker is hospitalized. Mitsuya is a popular celebrity who is in great demand for TV and magazine appearances, and Ishida feels a lot of pressure from his boss, who tells him not to mess up. Ishida nervously visits Mitsuya’s home, where Mitsuya invites him in with his kind Kansai dialect.
Mitsuya skillfully provides food to Ishida, who had forgotten to eat lunch. The meal completely captivates his stomach and heart, as he’s usually too busy to have a proper meal. Mitsuya says, “To me, food is like a good luck charm you have three times a day. For tomorrow to be another cheery day with good health.”
Since then, whenever Ishida would come to get Mitsuya’s monthly draft, he would eat Mitsuya’s food and then engage in conversation. They go from colleagues to friends. Ishida would sometimes ask for advice and depend on Mitsuya and, at some point, begins to have feelings that go beyond simple respect. Going past gender, he becomes attracted to this person as a human. Despite his bewilderment, his feelings for Mitsuya grow stronger.
Mitsuya enjoys spending time with Ishida as well, but Ishida could well be Mitsuya’s son with this age gap. Thus, he restrains himself and decides to never accept Ishida’s feelings.

In the not-too-popular town of Nishi Ogikubo, Kobayashi, the young owner, operates a small bar.
Cocktails mixed by beautiful young man Amamiya, and the silent chef’s canned food dishes are what’s offered.
“Canned food, how unsuitable!” But it’s not like that. Their offerings are a gentle accompaniment for the troubled customers.
It’s proof that even without the elaborate process that goes into dishes from an expensive restaurant, you can create delicious dishes while cutting a few corners. Instead of useless advice, the dishes teach the customers who have hit a wall that, “you don’t need to be perfect, it’s okay to relax,” and provide a moment of respite.
And as for the customer, they can confront themselves at that moment and begin again the next day.

This drama is based on the comics ”Sachi no Otera Gohan” (Sachi’s Temple meal).
The main character’s name is “Sachi Usui”. In Japanese expression, “Sachi ga Usui” means ill-starred. Just like her name,she is unlucky without any particular reason in her life. She eats the convenience store food every day. One day, she meets 3 chief priests who preach the buddha’s teachings by vegetable food. Sachi finds happiness, the importance of eating and learning about Shojin Ryori (Vegetable cuisine) in the temple. This is a gourmet love story.

This drama series, starring Mone Kamishiraishi, is the adaptation of a comic book about an introverted girl who adores good food. The story is set in an old residential area in downtown Tokyo.
Ayako Yamada, or Bun, is an 18 year-old who just entered university and started living by herself. Actually, she is living together with a rabbit-like talking stuffed animal called Hokusai.
Bun tends to shy away from people and likes to live in her own imagination. She is most interested in cooking, and no matter how short of money and time she is, she always makes the effort to cook and eat well. Her cuisine maintains a good balance of vegetables, proteins, carbohydrates, and is often made as a single dish for convenience.
Bun comes up with unique self-made recipes and cooks good meals with Hokusai. Problems arise in her life, but she is happy as long as she has good food and Hokusai by her side.

This is the 14th Co-production program by 5 local TV stations. A mystery man “GORI” tries to keep all food in Japan to himself and held a gourmet competitive show. His subordinates who were dispatched from 5 local TV stations try to present a masterpiece to him. After receiving some information, foodies called “Detective Team ”try to avoid GORI’s scheme, so they get together in Nagano.
"GORI" the MC tries to interrupt a group of foodies during a gourmet competition quiz show in order to prevent them from answering correctly. If they are able to answer correctly he has to give them some delicious food. However, if they are incorrect, he can keep the food for himself. Therefore, the “Detective Team” also known as the foodies makes a collective effort to answer correctly to sample the delicious gourmet. These dishes are not special the local residents, but are exceptional to non- residents.
