Yuko works a dead-end job at a call center for complaints. Her husband Yoshimitsu is a one-hit wonder former band musician. Their son Junichi shows talent at the piano, but with money being tight, buying one is not going to happen any time soon; if at all. Then one day, a traffic accident with a motorbike changes the family’s fortunes. Junichi brings home the biker’s bag, which contains stacks of cash. Money that would help. Really help. The biker, Sora, turns out to have been a transporter for a criminal ring. When they discover that Yuko has pocketed their ill-gotten stash, they not only rob it back, but force her to work for them. Desperate and angry, Yuko persuades Sora to work with her, and together they hatch an audacious plan: bring down the boss! With the gang and the police at her heels, can Yuko find redemption? A stylish, unpredictable thriller/comedy about the pain of a society where everyone is struggling to get by, and the increasingly blurry line between good and evil.
