Written and directed by the renowned screenwriter Shin Adachi, this work is based on his serialized diary. It is a family drama depicting the challenges a household faces, portrayed through biting criticism, sharp scoldings, and rare moments of affection.

Kenta neglects to look after his children and gets caught up in googling himself, all for the sake of his ego, while his wife, Asako manages the household and her job, working hard to support Kenta's long-held dream of becoming a film director. The story of a peculiar yet endearing family begins, showcasing a self-centered husband and a wife who, despite frequently losing her temper with him, prioritizes the needs of others over her own. Their contrasting personalities, along with their lovable, unique, and cheeky kids, create a whirlwind of misunderstandings and laughter, making us think about what the real family styles are!

Shin Adachi received the Japan Academy Prize for Best Screenplay for “100 YEN
LOVE” and the Best Screenplay Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival
for “A Beloved Wife.” The film “100 YEN LOVE” was remade by Jia Ling and
released in China as “热辣滚烫 (English title: “YOLO”) " in 2024.
Gaining significant recognition as a director and screenwriter, he humorously portrays the bittersweet aspects of his everyday life.

この作品は、著名な脚本家である足立信が脚本と監督を務め、彼の連載日記に基づいています。家庭が直面する課題を描いた家族ドラマで、罵倒と
叱責、ときどき愛で家族の難題を切り抜けていく、一家奮闘のホームドラマです。

足立信は「百円の恋」で日本アカデミー賞最優秀脚本賞を、「愛しの妻」で東京国際映画祭最優秀脚本賞を受賞しました。映画「百円の恋」は中国のコメディアン兼女優ジャー・リンによってリメイクされ、『热辣滚烫』として2024年2月10日に公開されました。中国でリメイクされた日本映画として最高の興行収入記録を更新し、最終的な興行収入は約35億元(約730億円)を超えました。

子どもの面倒も見ず、自分の承認欲求を満たすためエゴサーチに没頭する賢太と、そんな賢太を長年夢見る映画監督としてデビューさせるため、家庭と仕事を切り盛りしながら営業に勤しむ朝子。どこまでも自己中心の夫と、そんな夫にキレまくりながらも自分以外のことを優先する妻の、愛しくも奇妙な家族の物語が始まります。彼らの対照的な性格と、愛すべき独特で生意気な子供たちが誤解と笑いの渦を巻き起こし、私たちに本当の家族のあり方について考えさせます！
