Chisato Mayama (29) has been married for five years.
She married her overbearing husband, Yuta Mayama (31), after dating in college.
Since he is the son of a CEO at a major corporation, she has been living with her in-laws, devoted to her work as a housewife. Yet she is no longer loved and is treated like a maid, rather than as a part of the family—and she is tired of being like this.
On Chisato's 30th birthday, she knew no one would bother celebrating it with her. And despite that, she still hurriedly began preparing for dinner and ran to the supermarket for some groceries.
And that’s when she stumbles upon something shocking: her husband walking arm in arm with his young mistress, Runa (24).

Chisato wakes up in a hospital room. Yuta is right in front of her eyes.

Her mind is still hazy, but a sense of relief spreads within her.
