We are pleased to announce that Fuji TV-produced social development game “GeGeGe no Kitaro Yokai* Yokocho” in Traditional Chinese has become available on Yahoo! Mobage from December 15. This is Fuji TV's first browser game ever to be released in Greater China (Traditional Chinese region).
“GeGeGe no Kitaro Yokai Yokocho” is a game derived from popular yokai manga series “GeGeGe no Kitaro” by Shigeru Mizuki. In this game, players entrusted with special yokai powers are to create their own town in GeGeGe’s Forest. Players’ main goal is to run and turn their stores into a thriving business.
“GeGeGe Kitaro Yokai Yokocho” has won the award of “Best Title Chosen by Users” in Yahoo! Mobage Award 2014. This outstanding achievement initiated the distribution of the Traditional Chinese version of the game through DeNA.
Looking ahead the future, Fuji TV aims to further expand our global business development and will continue to create and offer more attractive game contents to people around the world.
