The Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA) is Asia-Pac’s most prestigious awards for creative excellence. The best of the best from 17 nations and regions representing the content industry gather each December in Singapore, competing for the ultimate number one prize, appealing to a global audience. Established in 2018, one work from each nation or region is selected as a representative and advances to the final judging round as a National Winner.
This year, judging took place across 41 categories, with Fuji Television receiving the prestigious “Legacy Award,” an honor recognizing the achievements of an organization. Fuji TV was recognized for the remarkable contributions and lasting impact on the television and media industry, highlighted by shows like Iron Chef, which redefined the concept of cooking programs and gained global popularity as a food show, as well as innovative and creative productions such as Hole in the Wall and Run for Money.
Mina Masaya, Executive Managing Director of Fuji Television Network, Inc., attended the awards ceremony held at the gorgeous Capitol Theatre and commented “Fuji TV has changed the conventions of cooking shows with ‘Iron Chef’ and has entertained audiences worldwide with unique and creative programs like ‘Hole in the Wall’ and ‘Run For Money.’ As we celebrate our 65th anniversary this year, we are truly honored to receive the ‘Legacy Award.’ However, we must never rest on our laurels. With the belief that the best is yet to come. We will continue to pursue innovation and deliver bold, unique, and dream-filled programs to audiences around the world.”
