Description
“If you smile, I’m sure happiness will spread.” This is a timeless story of people’s lives and is set in a hospital, where “life” is ever-present.
There is a general hospital in a quiet beachfront town. It’s advertised as being open “24 hours a day, 365 days a year” and various people gather there, from the elderly to children to expecting mothers. The medical treatment at this hospital isn’t as advanced as university hospitals, but it’s strongly rooted in the area. The doctors at this hospital face “life” with sincerity and learn about “the strength to live.” Through the various ways the patients at the hospital live their lives, this program asks about the value of “life,” which has been forgotten in modern society.
The story is deep, focusing on three generations with three different points of view in three parts, but all set at the same hospital.
