Rintaro Imaizumi, once a detective at the Kuramaebashi Police Station, is suddenly transferred to Public Relations Section 2. He originally joined the Metropolitan Police Department with the goal of becoming a First Investigative Division detective. Believing that the next transfer would finally place him in his dream post—the elite, highly respected First Division—he is stunned to receive an unexpected assignment to the PR division instead.
