Io Tsuruoka (Manami Igashira) is wholeheartedly devoted to her training as a chef at the long-established Somaya Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) in Asakusa. Having lost her father, the previous head chef, when she was little, she was heartbroken until the young master, Yukito Someya (Akira Takano), brought light back into her life. She reveres him as her cherished "Oshi (person she admires)," secretly harboring feelings for him as she observes his beautiful and diligent work ethic.
One day, Io is shocked to hear rumors of an arranged marriage for Yukito, but she manages to steel her resolve, telling herself, "I'll focus on my training so I can be useful to him as a chef!" However, as she leaves the public bath, she finds Yukito waiting for her outside... and, unexpectedly, the two end up going back to Io's room!
