This legal comedy portrays the development of a female legal apprentice.
One morning, Natsuki wakes up to a man she’s never seen before sleeping next to her. But then she recalls getting acquainted with him at a bar the previous night. Not wanting any hassles, she crushes him with words. Actually, Natsuki is a legal apprentice and it’s her first day on the job at a law firm. However, she’s late thanks to getting mixed up in an argument with an odd older woman at the bus stop. The older woman turns out to be the director of the law firm. And if that’s not bad enough, the person assigned to work with her is Yusaku, the man she’d been sleeping next to that morning.
Unable to escape trouble, Natsuki and her co-workers valiantly struggle against it. This drama is an upbeat celebration of humanity that shows the lighter side of their personal and professional development.


夏希（白石美帆）が朝、目を覚ますと、隣に見知らぬ男…。面倒なことになっては大変、とあの手この手で男を責め立てる。相手を論破する夏希。実は、夏希は司法修習生、法律家の卵なのだ。その日は法律事務所での修習初日。遅刻しては大変、と慌てて飛び出す夏希だったが、バス停で妙なオバサンに絡まれてしまう。そのせいでバスに乗り遅れ、タクシーを拾うはめに。そのタクシーまでも取り合いになるが、機転を利かせて先に乗り込んでしまう夏希。
「お先に失礼します。迷惑オバサン！」まさかその相手こそが、これから修習を受けるＳ＆Ｋ法律事務所所長・桂木さくら（中村玉緒）だとは夏希は知る由もなく…。また、一夜の過ちを犯してしまった男・久保田（山口馬木也）があろうことか指導弁護士に！人として、法律家として、夏希と修習生たちの成長が見ものの人間謳歌ドラマです。
