The blurred boundaries of marriage, divorce, all that lies between is the subject of the new teledrama series, Love:Redux. There’s nothing special about the path to love and marriage followed by protagonists, Haru and Ryuichiro, who marry 17 months after their first chance encounter. Indeed, the marriage falters and the couple divorce a mere two years later. Despite this decision it seems, however, and amid ongoing tension, that the couple cannot bear to be separated after all. They go out for romantic dinners, indulge in karaoke duets of their favorite love songs and even act as matchmakers, trying to set each other up on dates. Was divorcing the right decision? Should remarrying be on the cards? When does love truly end, and what does it mean when you receive a second chance?
