Manami is a no-nonsense high school teacher who can’t take a joke. Despite her passion for the job, the students’ opinions of her are only so-so. She lacks life experience, and has never fallen deeply in love. Kaoru, on the other hand, is a hot young employee at a host club. He grew up in a situation that was so terrible he wasn’t even able to attend elementary school properly, but he has turned his charm into a weapon in order to rise up from the bottom.
Manami discovers that one of her students, Natsuki, has gotten hooked on going to a host club, and has been using her parents’ bank card to pay for it. Despite being frightened, Manami heads to Kabukicho to bring her student back. She locates Natsuki, and drags the girl back home against her will. Later, when Natsuki’s mother asks her to have Kaoru make a written pledge that he will never contact Natsuki again, Manami heads to the host club once more, and that is the beginning of a love between two people whose paths were never meant to cross...
