Three years ago in April, on the first day of her third year at university, Yuki talked with her fellow faculty members Mahiru and Airi about how to spend the remaining two years without regret. Yuki felt dissatisfied with her student life.
At that moment, she noticed Hiromi Tokunaga intensely staring at a cherry blossom tree while fervently scribbling with a pen. A gust of wind blew, and a loose leaf sheet filled with equations landed at Yuki‘s feet. When Yuki picked it up and returned it, Hiromi thanked her and hurriedly left, forgetting his backpack. This backpack became the spark that brought Yuki, Hiromi, Mahiru Airi and Toranosuke together.
